Sync Trello with Google Calendar 

You can organize your workday with Google Calendar. You can sync your Google Calendar with virtually any mobile device as well as with desktop calendar programmes like Outlook thanks to the web-based calendar's user-friendly basic design and wide range of compatibility. Additionally, since it's free, it's a wonderful choice for corporate users on a budget.  Trello is a collaborative project management tool made to track team projects, highlight ongoing tasks, display who is responsible for them, and provide progress updates. Trello is a project management tool that primarily uses Kanban project board concepts to visualize workflows and give managers and team members a quick overview of a project's progress.  

What is the need of Syncing Trello Cards with Google calendar?  

Any Trello user can benefit from syncing their board's cards to a shared Google Calendar. Though it is not the sole application of this approach, this use case can serve as a source of inspiration. Consequently, let's envision that a marketing team is using Trello to plan their roadmap, and they have a board that lists all the conferences (and the dates they'll be attending and/or sponsoring) in 2023. Every event might have a card containing a list of guests, information, schedule, etc. To sync any cards associated with the conference schedule into a shared Google Calendar, they might create a flow using Unito. The other will be automatically updated in the event that a card or associated event is modified.

 Step 1: 

Integrate Unito with Trello and Google Calendar Select +Create Flow in the Unito App after navigating there. To connect Trello and Google Calendar, choose Start Here on the following screen. Select the accounts you wish to link to Unito. Which account, board, and calendar you want to sync must be specified. Make sure you check every box when you first link Google Calendar to Unito for your flow to work as intended. Press Confirm, when you are ready.   

Step 2:   

Set a flow path from Trello to Google Calendar Your data can sync either one way, or both ways, depending on the tool. A 2-way flow may be used if we wanted each tool to be able to create a card or event in the other.  We'll select a 1-way flow from Trello to Google Calendar since our objective in this guide is to    keep new conferences added to the roadmap in Trello visible in Google Calendar. 

 Step 3: 

Create Google Calendar events according to predetermined Trello Cards by setting up rules.  

We can now create rules to control which trigger events communicate information across our tools. We have the opportunity to remove unrelated Trello cards from our Unito flow to Google Calendar at this time. 

 By applying appropriate labels and color coding in each tool, you can filter your cards effectively. If you haven't already, go to calendar.google.com and give your shared calendar a name and a color. Next, go to Trello.com to add labels to any cards associated with your events. Unito will use these to recognise the cards you want to sync with new events.  Select Add a new trigger when you're ready to sync those designated cards with the selected Google Calendar.Establishing guidelines for Trello and Google Calendar to sync two ways with Unito.  

Step 4:

 Configure field mappings for Trello cards and Google Calendar events.  You'll be prompted to choose whether you want Unito to set up your mappings automatically or from scratch when you first open this screen. Your cards' and events' specifics are regarded as fields that need to be mapped (or matched). The same details will show up in both places if you link the description of your card to the description of your event.  To sync more fields, click + Add mapping. Then, find the field you want to map and click Select a field for each tool.

 Step 5: 

Your Trello - Google Calendar flow has been saved, closed, and launched. That's all, then! A flow between Trello and Google Calendar has recently been finished. Congratulations!  If you followed the aforementioned instructions, your flow should now:  For each new Google Calendar event that has a yellow label created by a specific user, create a card in Trello. Make a Google Calendar event for each Trello card with the "Milestone" title.   Dates, times, attendees, card/event titles, and descriptions may all be synchronized amongst your tools to keep them current in real time.
